Welcome To Amy's Flowers

Where it all Began.....

Amy’s Flowers, a division of the Milk Pail, started business in the Spring of 1994.  Throughout the past years several expansions have taken place and an increased variety of plant material is now available.

The grower "seed" was planted in my heart as a small child, encouraged by my grandmother when my sister and I started Amy and Jenny's cutflower business.  During college I studied floriculture, plant science, and also worked in Holland for one semester.  After graduation a 1250 square foot greenhouse, borrowed from my uncle, was built and I started my business on our farm in Mecox.  Now I have 9,700 square feet of greenhouse space with additional space outside.

Tiny plugs (small young plants), which were ordered in August of the previous year, and seed I have planted all start arriving and growing towards the beginning of February.  Every year that goes by the miracle of growth is always impressive.  Roots from the plugs fill their pot in 7-10 days, while seedlings germinate from seeds smaller than a spec of dust.

Ask Amy to design a pot or garden for you!
